!!!!!!strictly limited to 500 copies!!!!!! together with stefan goldmanns debut cd the transitory state, macro releases a strictly limited box set containing five 7? records holding the electroacoustic album voices of the dead. with his releases for innervisions, perlon and macro stefan goldmann has been a key figure at the cutting edge of post minimal techno and the renewal of house music. this album is a distinctively different affair though, reaching far beyond the scope of dancefloor electronics. starting a trilogy of concept albums, stefan goldmann searches for the common root of all music in an electroacoustic setting. from this album turret is already renowned as the intro sequence of richie hawtins groundbreaking de9 transitions mix compilation and was also commissioned by the biblioteque nationale de france for the imeb phonoteque public collection. the artist explains: at first sight we recognise upfront elements like a melody or rhythmic pattern, which we associate with a certain piece or style of music, but there is tension between two notes, hard-to-define background information that at a closer look is found everywhere - within the music of coltrane and stravinsky, death metal and 9th century byzantine chants. if there is anything like a total, secret common ground, than its this information lurking in the background. these are the voices of the dead, the heritage of an endless line of ancestors brought forward through the centuries. i tried to make these elements audible as clearly as possible. really like this weird space ambient one. ive put katorga and izo already into my final scratch computer and have been playing them! piemont had a furious premiere at gedankensport. the nightshift ep caused huge waves of response. frederic möring-sack and christian de jonquieres already had an excellent reputation as solo artists the last years but as piemont they brought up an extraordinary standard of minimal techno. they run their own labels suchtreflex, hammarskjold and fingerfoodmusic. their music is suitable for peak time as well as for after hours and listening comfort. their debut gained great public interest and soon top artists supported as thomas schumacher, oliver huntemann, oliver koletzki, monika kruse, deep dish and umek supported the tracks. heavy rotation accelerated by their next act of greatness at gedankensport and now we are proud to announce the follow-up which is another wonderful milestone of minimalism!

a perfect example for the second category is the lnz013 track rezolution. even though limited on 500 white label copies, this hypnotic minimal trip became an incredible public success over the last two months. not only, but especially on ibiza, the feos & miroir production is regularly spinned by all important tech house djs. not set the dance floor alight or keep it ablaze with rezolution is a big faux pas the party crowd hardly could accept. due to the overwhelming demand for the lnz013 (and the fact that its sold out mostly everywhere) the label decided to press a second edition of this legendary tune. unlike the tria track of the limited vinyl, the flipside comes with a re-edit version of rezolution, produced by pascal feos studio mate chris wood. extended to 8.30 minutes of playtime, he retained all stunning sound elements of the original, re-arranged them, gave great new accents and lifted the track cleverly up to an even higher, minimal house energetic level. thats why we dont call it a b-, but aa-side track
